So our trip to Rome came to an end today as we headed back to the UK. We had a great trip and I got to see a lot of things that I’ve wanted to see and experience for years, along with a few extra surprises!
I loved getting to enjoy some sunshine, it feels like spring has been a very long time coming here, going out without a jacket felt so nice.
Rome itself is full of little side streets to explore, plus there are a variety of street performers to watch while having a nice aperol spritzer! It feels like I’ve been away a lot longer than six days, and I feel so much more rested than before.
Looking forward to our next trip somewhere!
